The East Bridgewater Central Elementary School Building Project is a landmark public school construction initiative that will deliver a brand-new elementary school to the students, families, and community of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, replacing a facility long challenged by outdated classrooms, accessibility deficiencies, undersized common areas, inadequate ventilation, and aging infrastructure that no longer meets the educational and operational needs of a modern school community. Managed through the Massachusetts School Building Authority’s CORE grant program and overseen by LeftField, LLC, selected as Owner’s Project Manager in May 2024, with Raymond Design Associates, Inc. serving as the design firm and Gilbane engaged as Construction Manager at Risk in January 2026, the East Bridgewater Central ES project is one of the most actively progressing new elementary school construction projects currently in the MSBA pipeline in Southeastern Massachusetts.
The project’s trajectory through the MSBA process reflects both the urgency of the need and the discipline of the project team’s execution. From the original Statement of Interest submitted in April 2022, through MSBA Eligibility Period in December 2022, Feasibility Study invitation in February 2024, the engagement of LeftField as OPM in May 2024, the selection of Raymond Design Associates as designer in September 2024, and Preliminary Design Program submission in January 2025, the project reached a critical milestone when the MSBA approved East Bridgewater to move into Schematic Design in June 2025. The Schematic Design was submitted to the MSBA in August 2025, the Town of East Bridgewater voted to approve the project in November 2025, Design Development was approved by the town in March 2026, and active site preparation, including pre-load fill operations under construction management by Gilbane, commenced in spring 2026, with gravel fill deliveries running from April through June 2026 and vertical construction anticipated to follow after a settlement monitoring period extending through the end of 2026.
Community engagement has been a defining feature of this project from the very beginning, with multiple community forums, a robust schedule of School Building Committee meetings, mini video tours of the existing school’s deficiencies shared publicly to build community understanding and support, and regular monthly newsletter updates ensuring that East Bridgewater residents, school staff, and families remain fully informed at every stage of the construction journey. As Owner’s Project Manager, LeftField, LLC has guided the project team through every MSBA module with the expertise, schedule discipline, and community-centered transparency that has made LeftField one of the most trusted and experienced public school construction project management firms in Massachusetts.
As a specialized public construction project management firm with an active and growing portfolio of MSBA-funded school building projects across Massachusetts, LeftField needed a transparent, professionally designed, and community-accessible project website that could serve as the authoritative digital home for the Central ES project, hosting School Building Committee meeting schedules, design renderings, project documents, MSBA module updates, and construction progress reports in a format that is clear and accessible to both community members and project stakeholders. Our web design and development team built a clean, organized, and information-rich construction project website tailored specifically for Owner’s Project Managers, public construction management firms, school building committees, and MSBA-funded elementary school construction projects in Massachusetts, designed to support transparent community communication, document every stage of the MSBA process, and serve as a trusted public record for this multi-year construction initiative, powered by AI-driven digital growth strategies built for the public construction and municipal sector.
If you lead a construction project management firm, Owner’s Project Manager practice, general contracting company, school building committee, or any construction and public sector organization overseeing large-scale elementary, middle, or high school building projects in Massachusetts and are looking for a web design and digital growth partner that understands the community transparency, MSBA documentation, and stakeholder communication demands of public school construction, this project is a compelling example of how expert web development and AI-powered growth services can serve your project’s public information needs, build lasting community trust, and position your construction management firm as the preferred expert in MSBA-funded public school construction projects across the Commonwealth.
